Roots: The Saga of an American family by Alex Haley

Words cannot express how I feel then

…and now when I read this book.

The novel was published back in 1976. It tells the story of Kunta Kinte, an 18th-century African, captured as an adolescent and sold into slavery in the United States.

It begins with a birth in 1750, in an African village; it ends seven generations later at the Arkansas funeral of a black professor whose children becomes  a teacher, a Navy architect, an assistant director of the U.S. Information Agency, and an author named Alex Haley.

This magnificent book is his and I can not tell you how much, it will change your life like it did for all races around the world.

A honorary THANK YOU Mr. Haley for writing one of the greatest FIVE-STAR novels of all times!
