At the end of the 1800s, the British (and other Europeans) ‘discovered’ the beautiful Norwegian fjord landscape. They were looking for perfect fishing conditions, especially salmon and trout fishing. They were captivated by the beautiful landscape.
The Geirangerfjord in Øye, Møre og Romsdal county, cuts nearly 10 miles (15 km) deep into the steep mountain sides. It is one of the most remarkable Norwegian fjords. The wild waterfall The Seven Sisters (Norwegian: De sju søstre ) is a typical landmark along the fjord.
In 1952, the distinctive Ørnevenein (English: Eagle Road) was finished with its eleven hairpin turns through the valley from Åndalsnes to Geiranger. Ørneveien is an engineering masterpiece with a magnificent view over the fjord.
The Geirangerfjord is the most visited fjord in Norway and for more than 150 years, scientists, artists and tourists have flocked there to enjoy the spectacular scenery and landscape.

I cant believe I missed this journal! Thank you for posting this! I look forward to reading it! ~Abbey
The actual cover is more helpful; it has a subtitle, 365 Witticisms by Jane Austen, that was unfortunately omitted in the online listings. Bingo! Janeites will also recognize her silhouette in the cover design, but the uninitiated will be clueless. Honestly, Jane-a-Day could be for any famous Jane, like: Jane Eyre, Jane Marple or Calamity Jane! Regardless of this miss by publisher Potter Style, who have brought us a slew of beautiful Austen ephemera like: Jane Austen Puzzle: 500-Piece Puzzle, Jane Austen Mini Journal and Jane Austen Notecards, this is a gem that Janeites should be made aware of.
This classy new 5 year diary has a lot of pluses in its favor to make up for…

In the entire spectrum of Pride and Prejudice sequels, variations, retellings, and what-if’s I’ve seen Darcy as a vampire, werewolf, zombie, ranch owner, and rock star. I’ve seen Elizabeth as a master zombie fighter, scientist, doctor, sleuth, and time traveler. I’ve seen them in WWII England, Colonial America, Thailand, Texas, and Oxford, but never have we seen them the way Amanda Grange and Jacqueline Webb have envisioned them in Pride & Pyramids: Mr. Darcy in Egypt. Taking them down the Nile and into the sprawling deserts of Egypt, Grange and Webb turn our beloved couple into amateur archeologists on an expedition in the land of the pharaohs!
Pride & Pyramids begins approximately 15 years after the fairytale ending of Pride and Prejudice. Elizabeth and Darcy are comfortably tending to their many children and leading a comfortable, happy life. This changes with a visit from Edward, brother…

I began writing at a fairly young age. Television bored me so I figured I would write my own stories that would someday replace the horrible shows of no substance. The discovery of writing and the reading of classic fairy tales and novels became my amusement.
Not until later years, I returned to writing again. Alas, this was all to one person’s devising: my father. He stumbled upon my childhood scribblings in an old wardrobe off the sitting room. My parents spent an entire evening rereading my tales of peril, humor and lesson-learned fables.
He found them so amusing, lively and learnt, that he asked me to revise them and publish them as a young adult book series. I had no desire to carry it out until I beheld the guarded faith and sincerity in my father’s eyes. It was the best decision I ever made in my life.
Writing has become my unknown energy, my escape, my voice, my vitality…
I hope through my words, letters, and day-dream entries, I will not disappoint but instead lure you into the deep desire to write, read and love the rhythm and poetic justice of well-written books!
